Ladue News stopped by our new women-owned carryout kitchen in Overland, run by Nickie with her mom Sasi and her grandma, and open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven nights a week. They tried the street-food side of the menu: moo ping pork skewers, spicy dumplings, duck fried rice, pad kra pow, and fried bananas to finish.

Our Story

A family food story that kept growing.

Thai Kitchen started with recipes, ingredients, and hospitality that felt personal. The menu still centers on the dishes guests come back for: Pad Thai, spicy noodles, Panang curry, satay, hot soups, fried rice, and the sweet finish of mango sticky rice.

Founder Sasi opened the original Thai Kitchen in Maryland Heights in 1999. Years later, she returned to the same community with Thai Mama, Sasi Thai Market, and Sasi Wholesale, bringing the restaurant, grocery, and ingredient side of Thai food under one roof.
